I shall try these tactics.

The thing is, when think like you need to do things other people are doing and compare yourself to others it is often negative. Instead you should think about what you want to do, what you like, and not force yourself into a situation where you will be stressed. I mean you can just think, “I want to do good in school, study hard” rather than I must be #1 or valedictorian, because honestly after high school, no one will really care. I mean as long as you do good in school you’re fine whether or not you’re number 1. Just take a step back, give yourself some break time too because junior will be hectic. Like I knew a lot of my friends breaking down during junior year, luckily for me I did not. Whether it was just my tolerance for stress or what not, I knew that I didn’t compare myself to others and I just told myself that I want to do good for me and my future and not for anyone else.
